Walking With My Brother

Oh my heavenly Lord,

I walked alone surrounded by demons and snakes
And You protected me.

I turned to You in fear
And you showed me your presence.

I called to You in my misery
And You heard me.

I cried out in sorrow
And You comforted me.

I searched for You
And You showed me Your way.

I called Your name
And You embraced me.

I rejoiced in Your presence
And You fed me.

I died to myself
And You took me to be Your own.
