Walking With My Brother

Psalm 51:17 The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Let me not despise my broken spirit, or my broken heart, oh lord. Rather, show me how to offer it to you as a sacrifice.

Take my ego and my arrogance, my loss of the affection of others, and give me a heart whose only desire is to please and serve you.
